Wtf is happening with her career, she was in Spiderman for 30 secs...

... She had one sentence dialogue here, am I missing something? This is the woman that worked with Robert Altman, Steven Spielberg, Chris Colombus, had a lead part in Junebug, did a Jane Austen adaptation and now she has 30 second parts in Spider Man and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo?

Seriously, I could kind of understand doing the latter because contractually she would be required for continuing her character in the future installments but then again there are no immediate plans to do so. But in Spider-Man, how can you have that resume and justify taking a part like that? Her death was not focused on at all. I doubt they would even look into this in Spider-Man sequel, I am so confused...

Agree she does need bigger roles than the 30 second parts in her past few movies but in this new one Paranoia she is the female lead so we should see lots of her.

Did you really expect the character of Mary Parker to be a major role?

And it's pretty blatant that future sequels WILL delve further into his parent's death, and how Norman Osborne was involved. Especially if you pay any attention whatsoever to the mid-credits scene.

It might have to do with her age. When actresses get over 40, they usually get less work or get smaller roles in movies (with a few exceptions...)

I call movies that are considered 'bad' hated movies.

I hear she has more lines in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", than she did in the previous installment.

She actually has a little more this time around, she cries a little and gets in a bit of the action (she throws a vase in the face of the baddie) but again she is only in one scene really (2-3mins).

^^This. Pretty much. Still it was cool to see her do more than she did in the previous film but she needs more screentime in films.
