Well, what was the question?? Were you able to talk to him for a while? Don't leave us in suspense!

He was the first celeb I met when I was working in Stratford on Avon in the early 1990s. Sad to say he was a prize prick, so full of himself and rudely arrogant. We had a lot of celebs come into the shop where I worked and most were ok but Dance was a wanker of the first order. Shame, cos I really enjoy watching his work.

When people write stuff like this I do wonder what exactly the actor in question has done to get their back up so much and even though I've never properly met anyone famous I wonder if those who totally slag off celebrities they've met aren't just petty little people with an axe to grind. Sorry but people always sound like taxi drivers ("I had 'im in the back of my cab once") when they make these sorts of comments. Maybe I don't really want to know but I'm wondering how he behaved for you to come away with such a low opinion of him.

In my case, he was very arrogant and quite rude to the sales team. I think the word would be haughty. Stood in the centre of the shop with a full length duster style coat and big wide brimmed hat snapiing his fingers at us. Doesn't spoil my enjoyment of his films though.

Hmm, does sound like he was being a prat on that occasion. That mental picture you've given is quite funny actually, what was he going around dressed in cowboy attire for (unless he was still in some costume)? It's good you can still enjoy his work though.
