Bond villain

I think this guy would be an excellent Bond villain, he has played some of the scariest villains on TV and he does look menacing when he plays them. I think he will be an excellent Bond villain if they ever decide to make him one!

what you guys think?

Charles Dance actually appeared in a Bond movie. It was For Your Eyes Only, but he was just another assassin with no real role in the movie. Charles Dance appeared only twice: the first time was when Bond was chased onto that ski ramp, Dance was the second villain following Bond next to the one with glasses. He then appeares when he has Bond at gun point on the beach after the girl was killed just before getting a harpoon in the back. But I agree, he should be a main villain.

WOW, I never knew that! Thanks for the info, very much appreciated! I also just looked it up in IMDB and yeah he does, you are right and I will have to rent "For your eyes only" now to see him in it!

But I am glad you also agree that he should be a main Bond villain!

I read the autobiography of the director of For Your Eyes Only, John Glen, and apparently Charles Dance was in the running to play James Bond himself but Cubby Broccoli said he would never hire him after seeing him on a Tv interview slagging off John GLen for telling him (Dance) that he was holding his gun (in the film) like a woman and editing out some of his lines or something.

He would be perfect for a Bond villian. The again, this would mean he would be killed by Bond. I'd say, save Charles Dance for the very last Bond movie where Bond finally dies :)

I thought Dance did an underrated job as the villain in Last Action Hero. I like that scene where he looks into the camera a la Iago and declares, "If God were a villain, he'd be me!"

He could be a great choice for replacing Judi Dench as "M", even he could be good for "Q"
