I'm a straight guy kittey, so obviously I'm not going to find ANY guy sexy, but I do find certain men INSANELY charismatic (no, not because I'm a latent homosexual, or that there would be anything wrong with being one [at least in my mind]), and the combination of charisma, confidence, intellect, along with being blessed with several GREAT roles in his career (of late, Nightcrawler in "X-2", and Eli Gold in "The Good Wife") make him insanely charismatic. Playing Eli Gold in "The Good Wife" is what's put his face in the heads of Americans, though he, obviously, has an immense resume filled with great roles and performances. Let's face it, Americans absolutely ADORE sarcastic, confident, smart, yet likeably flawed characters, and that describes his most recognized role, Eli Gold, to a "T", so unquestionably lots of women and gay men will find him sexy.

Now, I'm ~10 years younger than Alan Cumming, and a behaviorist by trade (Ph.D. Behavioral Analysis, Marquette, 2009), so I feel qualified to point out you're ahead of your years as far as what men you find attractive, and that's meant as a big compliment. This is because it normally takes women somewhere between 23 and 30 years to realize they don't want an *beep* for a partner, they want a "GOOD MAN" (as opposed to a "nice guy"), and Alan Cumming (based on the interviews I've seen, the body language in those interviews, and what I've read about him from those who know him or have worked with him) is just that, so BRAVO! for you... Seriously! The bulk of my female undergrad students still haven't figured that out.

I do wonder, have you found you've been able to "read people" relatively accurately in your young life? Because I've found people (male or female) who look for the right things in members of the opposite sex (or same sex if that's their thing, and it IS Alan's thing if that's not obvious) earlier in life usually are what we refer to as "naturals" when it comes to reading people. I'd be interested in knowing if that trend continues with you.

In any case, I can't say that I find him sexy, but I do find him to be someone with whom I'd like to be friends OFF-screen, someone with whom I believe I'd enjoy hanging out, and I'm ridiculously picky when it comes down to with whom I choose to be friends.

Im 20 and have been obssesed about him since I was about 16. There is just something about him that I like and find sexy. Hes not like brad pitt hot but I think I would take him over Brad Pitt lol.
