Please Come Back as Nightcrawler!

I want Alan Cumming to play Nightcrawler again. I love him as an actor and Nightcrawler is my favorite X-Men character. I've read that he hasn't reprised the role because of his dislike of the extensive makeup process but I've also read that it's because he's never officially been asked. He said in an interview (linked below) that he was supposed to be in "X-Men: The Last Stand" but "that didn't happen." He's also said if they ask him to reprise the role he "would definitely consider it." They probably just need to give Nightcrawler a good size role to make the makeup process worth it to him.

Yes, it's been 11 years since he played the character but I know there are a lot of people out there that would love to see Nightcrawler again, especially played by Alan Cumming! I know I would. Please get it together, movie makers!

If it's any consolation, I hear that Nightcrawler might come back in the next X-Men movie. It'll be a young Nightcrawler though, so I highly doubt it would be Alan... also read somewhere that Singer originally wanted to include Nightcrawler in DOFP but ultimately decided against it, perhaps because Blink already fulfilled the 'Teleporter' role anyway.

He's the only reason I saw X2. I'm not a fan of X-Men. But finding out he was in it, I went to see it. And to think, he had never heard of the X-Men or Nightcrawler before he was cast.
