Just finished reading THE ROMANOV SISTERS! Sofia needs to direct!
What an amazing book about the 4 doomed Russian Grand Duchesses Olga, Tatianna, Maria, and the most famous of them all Anastasia. I think Sofia would make an excellent film about them and capture their loneliness, their isolation in their fine grandeur, and their coming into adulthood before they were brutally murdered by the Bolsheivcks. Now I am all for, Sofia choosing great music, but for this film, if she does indeed ever tackle another period piece again, the music should defintely be less Siouxie and the Banshees/New Order and be more Aphex Twins or Radio Dept.
