Sofia Coppola is to direct a live-action Little Mermaid adaptation! I am so excited about this! I hope they make it more like the originally Hans Christian Andersen story, rather than the Disney one.

I don't know if they can be accurate to Hans Christian Anderson. I can't see Sofia C. filming a girls tail being cut with blood gushing everywhere. Has she ever directed blood/gore?
