I kind of feel sorry for Meryl. I mean, she didn’t exactly ask to be hailed as the GOAT but that label’s stuck. People will naturally blast her for being overrated.. but to my mind she wouldn’t have all the hyperbole if she wasn’t a solid, talented actress.
I probably like Toni more too.. but nothing but respect for Streep.
This post was more showing respect to Toni who doesn't nearly get enough respect. I think she's better than Meryl but doesn't get nearly the amount of attention and accolades. She only has 1 Oscar nomination. Let's see Meryl turn in a performance like Toni's in "The Boys" (1998).
