This guy has made so many great thrillers.

Recommend some of his films. Is he a French New Wave Hitchcock?

This Man Must Die (1969)
Le Boucher (1970)
La Rupture (1970)
La femme infidele (1969)
L'enfer (1994)

I wouldn't say he's like Hitchcock as there really isn't suspense in his films, but he makes entertaining thrillers.
