Reminds me a bit of Harrison Ford
He reminds me a bit of Harrison Ford, anyone else think he'd be great in an Indiana Jones type role??

shareYes he would be great in an Indiana Jones type role ..idem as James Bond ..the only problem is that these kind of roles are physically very demanding ...his role as Reese in Person of Interest was halved because he couldn't keep up the combat scenes.

I can ony imagine the toll playing a genuine badass takes on ones body but I have a hard time accepting the idea that what appears to be a very fit guy in his mid forties can't stand up to the effort and abuse required to film an action movie. I think the he could handle it, and well. We all have our breaking point, from what I understand he looked his in the eye while filming The Passion and lived to tell the tale ( although just barely from what I've read). My take is he must be a tough sun of a biscut eater to have survived that so anything else should be close to childs play at this point. Even if the kids play extremely rough on his playground
shareI think I read in an old interview that he has problems with his knees from his basketball days.

The Passion was done over 10 years ago...Cavievel is now pushing towards 50.
It's well known on the Person of Interest board that Sarah Shahi's character Shaw was introduced in part to take some pressure (hand to hand combat) of Caviezel back.

Wouldn't there be more time for recovery between scenes in a feature length film with multiple supporting characters shot over the course of a year or so vs an action movie of the week/sci fi thriller shot over the course of of several days? I've read that the filming schedule on a TV show is brutal. I get that we're talking about a person who has put himself through the wringer physically and has the wear and tear that comes with that, but pushing 50 is a reason to pay better attention and take more care with ones self, not a marker for washed up has been. The way folks on the poi boards talk, if he was a horse it would be all over....

Hopefully this article will put things into prospect :
James Bond actor Daniel Craig said that he was worried by the delays in the production of 'Skyfall' and was eager to get back into the role because, at the age of 43, he feels he is already getting too old to cope with the extreme physical demands of playing James Bond. Craig starts preparation for a Bond movie about six months prior to filming and works out for about two hours each day of principal photography after shooting has wrapped.

Gotcha, thankfully, he doesn't need to bash heads to tell a great story, but it sure is fun to watch! Can't blame us fans for wanting to see more. As a side note to what is possible though, Bruce Ford made the NFR saddle bronc in his forties, rural America is full of folks like that. Apologies for being hard headed, but it keeps us going even when we're well past our prime.

i understand.
Person of Interest was already in its third season when I stumbled onto a repeat episode..
it was the one where Reese meets ,for the first time, Leon Tao...after seeing the bar shoot out and the fight with the Aryan Brotherhood POI became a weekly appointment.
