84th birthday
shareShe was great in Once Upon a Time in the West (1968).
sharerewatching it this morning, end credits rolling now.
yes bro she was *the* perfect one for that role. in fact I can't iimagine replacing anyone in that cast. years ago i remember saying i thought bronson and fonda were too old for their roles but now i disagree (with myself lol) ....i think they were wonderful. reminds me of the latent aging vibe pam grier lent to jackie brown which added a lot of pathos and 'vibe' to the otherwise excellent narrative. same here. bronson and fonda being more 'mature' in their roles lent a certain element to the story it would not otherwise have had. especially with the overarching theme of bronson returning to correct a wrong from his long ago past, and fonda being the target of that 'correction' and himself 'seasoned' and ready for the stew pot. (lol)
but back to your point: yes, claudia was perfect in this.
makes my mouth water every time i see her. just looked it up... she was exactly 29 years old when this was filmed.
if only i could go back in time and have a crack at that gorgeous woman lol

Only saw her in Once Upon A Time In The West but it was enough to sustain for a lifetime.
What a beauty.
I saw "The Red Tent" when I was fifteen and I still remember when Hardy Kruger grabbed her boob. I haven't seen the movie in over half a century, but I'm pretty sure it was the left one.
