Super nice dude. Good taste in movies. Came into a local reportory theatre where I volunteer, dressed very low key. And while I recognized him from numerous television appearances, I could not put my finger on why he looked so familiar. When I asked him about his work, he mentioned several of his more recent efforts, but they weren't where I remembered him from. Then I realized, it was Star Trek TNG! He was only ever in one episode, but I've probably seem all of them dozens of times.

I wonder if he realizes the impact that character had? Neat.

That is so cool that you met him! He is one of my favourite actors, and he always seemed as if he would be a great person in real life.

WOW..that's terrific. He sounds like a real down to earth kind of person; which can really be rare these days. By the way, what city/area was this in? Thanks a lot.

djeebus-You posted your message on 7/7/07. Was that the day your met Billy Campbell? If so, you met him on his birthday!

He came into my work place too a couple days ago in Charlottesville VA. I work at five guys and he was really nice and joked around with the manager! Does anyone know where he's living nowadays?

I thought he was living in Los Angeles. I'm pretty sure his mom is still living in Charlottesville and his dad is in Chicago. What kind of place is five guys? I've heard of it, but not sure. (my bad) Was he by himself or with someone? Details..please. :-) It does seem that Billy is a really down to earth kind of person. Did he still have the beard and long hair? I ask since maybe that means The 4400 is renewed for a 5th season. (or he just likes the beard/long hair)

Billy just likes to have the hair, he feels more comfortable when he has longer hair and beard. I like it he looks like a mountain man....or a heavy biker
