It's NOW Billy's TIME!

Han Solo & Jack Ryan/Alex Cross/Jason Bourne/Robert Langdon--I'm sure most everyone will agree that it's BILLY'S TIME! I really wish he'd seriously consider obtaining the film rights (or optioning) some really good books wherein the characters are JUST RIGHT for him, i.e., James Elliott's Former Agent Mike Culley (from COLD COLD HEART), Andrew Gross' Police Detective Ty Hauck or one of my favorite characters--Brian Freeman's Minnesota Police Detective Jonathan Stride.

I love the TV characters that Billy plays/has played. Especially his good BAD GUY characters. It wasn't until I SERIOUSLY watched and studied the film ENOUGH where I noticed the subtle changes in his face when he went from good guy to truly SCARY.

I'm sure no one will forget Billy's "breakdown" scene in ONCE AND AGAIN wherein he was told by Sela Ward's character that she'd had "closure" with her ex-husband. A scene I, myself, will NEVER FORGET!

His latest film is getting absolutely wonderful write-ups.

This moment in his life is a time where I truly believe he should consider doing some good, major roles (if not a continuing one for 2-3 Pictures).

As I previously stated "IT's NOW Billy's TIME!" and it truly is. Ever since he was cast in THE KILLING, he seems to be continually working as an Actor--with his latest role being Abe Lincoln in Nat Geo's KILLING LINCOLN (after having just worked on COPPERHEAD and, before that, THE SCRIBBLER, RED KNOT, THE DISAPPEARED and FAT KID RULES THE WORLD). And, as you all know from my previous post, I would love to see him in a film series, possibly portraying a Detective in a Thriller and maybe the lead in a Comedy. I really enjoyed him in GHOST TOWN (playing the straight man to Ricky's funny man). I know Billy will take his role as Abe Lincoln very seriously. Keeping my fingers crossed that we will "see" Abe Lincoln and not Billy Campbell.

I agree with this post. Billy Campbell is a wonderful actor with the rang to play an excellent good guy as well as a VERY convincing bad guy. He takes the audience through the emotions of the character. His body of work speaks for itself.

I had the honor of meeting Billy and he is truly an amazing person with a very kind heart. I have a very strong feeling Billy Campbell has much more in store for his fans and the world in general.
