Has he had throat cancer or something??
It seems like he has trouble speaking. His voice is really hoarse. I wonder if he was a heavy smoker???

Our voices change as we get older. Something to do with thinning mucous membranes and changes in our larynx.
I've heard some people have 'fat' or collagen injected into their larynx.
