I've heard rumors over the years that he has been accused and/or been charged with domestic violence and even Family Guy joked about it but his Wikipedia bio doesn't mention it and I couldn't find anything online about it. Does anyone know if these rumors are true or not?

The only thing I could find was from the first search result from some site called ranker.com. None of their information seems legit as they don't supply any links to backup their claims, which make their site way more dubious than wikipedia

I know that Caan had a serious cocaine habit and in fact lead to Sam Peckinpah being hooked on the drug while they were filming The Killer Elite. I'm pretty sure Caan himself has spoken about it, so I don't think that's a rumor. I've not heard anything about domestic violence myself.
