Buckley actually filmed her scenes for Horse Whisperer. They were cut for other reasons.

While Buckley is a super actress/entertainer, she's supposedly a mega-bitch.

"I just love Hollywood" - Joe Gillis in Sunset Blvd.

I have met Miss Buckley several times, twice after she gave what could only have been a totally exhausting performance on stage, and she was nothing but kind, sweet and totally generous to her fans.

It is also worth noting that having someone replaced in a pilot is quite common- just like a movie, and happens much more than we realize.

I know many people who have worked with her on stage and film and have nothing but high praise for her as an actress and as a co-star.

Theatre folk are a bit high strung, and usually come off wrong to folks not used to thespians.

It's kinda of like Patti LuPone- everyone who has ever worked with her says she can be a total bitch at the drop of the hat- but when asked who do they want to be out there on stage with with no net to catch them should they fall they all say in a heartbeat- LuPone- success is really all that matters- if personality kept people from getting roles 95% of Hollywood would be *beep*

Just food for thought!

I, too, have had the pleasure of meeting Miss Buckley, and I can only echo what aprilandchristoper said.

She is kind and accomodating to her fans. She has the enduring capacity to make you feel as if you and she have been lifelong friends.
