I saw broadcast news in the movies and he was funny. There was a scene where he was doing the news and he started sweating comically, like it was pouring off of him. I laughed hard.
Later, when they released the film, they edited it out!! That was a crime.
They really cut that scene out? I haven't seen Broadcast News in years but that scene always made me laugh. it was certainly in the VCR copy I used to own back in the 90s and I don't see any reason why they would remove it.

I remember renting it for my parents and telling them there was this hilarious scene and then it was gone.
I caught it on TV and it was gone too.
I haven't seen the film playing anywhere in years!
Wow... how strange and disappointing, it's one of the stand-out scenes in this great film.
