I can't imagine what he'd attempt next, having done everything from chucking it all, to the Afterlife, but it'll be a longshot whatever it is. He was always a Woody Allen-esque storyteller (better so, in my opinion) and his films had a specialized audience. I mean, it's been 11 years since his last original story (that Muslim thing he did, he was playing himself) and considering that his films never did well, anyway, getting a greenlight will be tough. Brooks' films were like the elegant, fine dining of cinema; today's crop is junk food leftovers. I could possibly see him doing something regarding the social networking craze, but aside from that, not sure.
