His line deliveries are reaching for slapstick and they never land, obvious humor doesn't work in this show, it needs to be intellectual, he could learn a few things from mary louise parker.

Even if he gave the worst performance in the history of acting, anything Albert Brooks has ever done is better than WEEDS - aptly named. Furthermore, actors are the product of the director, the writer(s) & the actor they are reacting to in a scene. ML Parker is a major talent. I lament the fact she is in such a hack show.
