What action does his character take that is meant specifically to go after Jews and not just violent people who care too much about money in general? Please explain. I have to assume you're joking.

The director wanted Albert Brooks as one of the villains. And Brooks can't pass off being Italian so they rewrote it. Nothing wrong there.

Not anti-semetic in any way. If Brooks was quoting the Torah, complaining about things not being kosher, and contributing to a Jewish stereotype I could understand--but no.

The character was a mobster that happened to be Jewish.
