No thoughts on VB ? No gossip (even good gossip)?

I just mentioned VB in the Wendie Malick thread and I was curious what people think of her.
I copied what I wrote there:

(Regarding Wendie Malick), (t)hey don't look at all alike, but I also think of Christine Baranski. She isn't necessarily pretty, (although in real life I'm sure I'd be impressed), but there's something about her presence, it's easy to watch her perform. Oddly enough, V Bertinelli seems to lack that. She reminds me of Marie Osmond, someone who simply wants you to notice how pretty she is, but somehow VB comes off as downright plain -- but maybe I'm just being mean. I have nothing against VB. She's a lovely woman and maybe she's really down-to-earth, which would be nice.

I guess she has retired from acting permanently. It's hard to get roles when you're a woman or a man of a certain age.

Throughout the history of cinema and television, from the early twentieth century to today, many women of her age have maintained active acting careers.

I think my OP was to point out that no one had commented on this rather well-known and at times beautiful woman. When she was really young and on One Day, she rivaled all the other pretty TV starlets at the time. And she ended up on Hot In Cleveland, which is something. Match that with being married to Eddie VH, she certainly has a profile to look at.

Of course there are many exceptions but a woman of Valerie's talents and charm should have more offers to act.

Wendie and Jane are both in TV shows. Valerie needs to flex her acting muscles.

Valerie is focusing her attention on being a TV chef but I would like to see her act again. She said she would love to reboot Hot In Cleveland. I could see that working except for Betty White almost being 100 and understandably frail.

VB and some friends stayed at a hotel where I worked . It is a luxury hotel. VB and her friends seemed like nice middle-class, 50-something women. Not flashy, not demanding, and a lot of fun. Yes - down to earth

Wendie stayed there another time. Very classy.
