song title needed!

Robbie Benson made an appearance on some varitey show in the 70's where he was singing a song, I think it had something with Sun in the words and maybe had some spanish?? I dont remember anything else about this song or even the show it was on. If someone can help me figure this out, I would be greatly appreciative! Thank You!

The song was 'Adios Yesterday' from the movie, 'Walk Proud' And I believe he was on American Bandstand.
