She gives an incredible performance in both, but which one do you prefer?

It's amazing what rewatches can do.. Sandra Bullock, you weren't THAT bad in The Blind Side!
American Beauty is a far better movie and her role in it was perfect. She should have won that year. It's hard to be both funny, crazy, and tragic all in the same movie.

AS good as Annette was in American Beauty, Hillary Swank was pretty much solid in her role in Boys Dont Cry deserved her oscar for that, as for Million Dollar Baby I dont know. But either way give this woman her award already.
shareThe Kids Are All Right wasn't a disaster at all. In truth, it was my favorite movie this year. Highly recommend.
shareAmerican Beauty is one of the best movies of all time, IMO. I loved The Kids Are All Right but it's tough for any film to compete with American Beauty. Props to Bening for choosing two great projects though. She doesn't always pick the best films to work on, but when she does, it's a hit right out of the park.
