Overdue? don´t think so Glenn Close, Sigourney Weaver

Laura Linney, Julianne Moore, Meryl Streep´s third and others. Sorry this woman has done handful of good movies - often given uneven performance and yes this is what her 4th nomination in what 25 year career and only one of her few performance that has been considered good.

that only film I instantly think of that was worthy of an Oscar was Glenn for Fatal Attraction. hands down. I think if it was today, she woulda gotten it over Cher.

I believe the reason Glenn Close never won Oscar is because she is not what you would call a star of the Oscars. Glenn Close is Tony material. Not everyone knows this, but Glenn has more performances Tony worthy than Oscar worthy.

I adore laura linney and sigourney weaver! they are amazing, and i do feel that laura should have one! and i definitely think that julianne moore is consistently snubbed time and time again its a shame.

i also feel that toni collette should have a oscar, but that maybe a unpopular opinon

I like Sigourney Weaver put I really don't think she's quite up there with these other women. She's great at comedy and can obviously kick some ass, but she's limited (and often wooden) when it comes to drama.
