As a non-bigoted non-homophobe, I can honestly say that 'The Kids are All Right' pretty much sucked.

From what I have seen:

American Beauty (Oscar worthy)
Being Julia (Nom worthy)
The Grifters (Nom worthy)
The Kids Are All Right (Nom worthy)
Mother and Child (Nom worthy)
Running with Scissors (Nom worthy)
Regarding Henry (Nom worthy)
Bugsy
The American President
Mrs Harris
Valmont
Open Range
Mars Attacks
The Great Outdoors
---(gap)---
The Women
In Dreams (Razzie worthy)
What Planet Are You From? (Razzie worthy)
---(huge gap)---
The Siege (Razzie worthy)

Streep has another 20 years to win another 2 Oscars, go bitch go.

I can't speak for the bigoted homophobe, but maybe he went in knowing nothing about the movie, other than the title. Or maybe he's a big fan of The Who.
