Will She Ever Win An Oscar
Foor nomonations now first one going back to 1990. I really hope she wins an Oscar sometime soon. She has two films coming out next year. That will be her year.

sharei totally agree with you...she was great on AMERICAN BEAUTY....more and more young actresses much better than the veterans are coming each year...with significant role like that of Portman..but we still cannot tell...look at helen mirren and jessica tandy...still her chances is getting slimmer..
shareNot just because i'm a fan of her work, and her, i do feel that she portrayed her character so well in american beauty and should have won, no doubt if she was put in the best supporting catagory she would win. i hope one day to be able to see her on that stage winning a oscar she really deserves one.

I thought she should have won an Oscar since I saw her in Being Julia. She was tremendous in that and thought that The Kids Are All Right would finally make this year her year to win. I think she may win for the new Rob Reiner film, but we will have to wait and see ultimately.
