She’s an incredible actress and has a very likeable presence, even when she’s playing a psycho like Annie Wilkes.
That performance is legendary, she created one the best movie villains ever.

I agree. She is one of, if not my favorite actress. She has a wide variety of roles through out her career with many good actors/actresses. Her character always seems to stand out the most. Very likeable indeed.

Nothing wrong with a big woman, they will keep the bed warm on a winter evening.
But why should an actress have to be attractive for one to get excited about their work?
IMHO, the best actors and actresses are usually the most homely ones. I won't name any names, because that might be seen as rude, but the truth is, ugly people tend to have more range than pretty boys and pretty girls.
