One of the Best

Javier never fails to amaze me in his characters and I put him in the top Best Actor's of today (others: Daniel Day-Lewis, Sean Penn, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix, Ralph Fiennes, Benicio del Toro) . His roles are so well picked and memorable (the kind that will be watched years from now). He has this beautiful knack of being able to express subtlety so proudly and vividly. My favorite roles are: Biutiful, Before Night Falls, The Sea Inside, No Country For Old Men and Mondays in the Sun.

I love that he is like a chameleon, he is so different in everything he does.

Yes he is. I think I have every Spanish film he has been in that has been released in the U.S. There are several that are really fun, like Boca a Boca. Also there are some funny scenes in Love In The Time Of Cholera. One of the sweetest scenes for me is at the end when they are old and on the boat. They come out of their rooms and see each other, he does a little tipping of his hat that is precious. It is just a small thing he does, but I always remember it. That is something else I really like about him. He does these little gestures that are really nothing, but it is just in the characters makeup or personality.

You cant change anything without causing some degree of disruption
