Almost all his roles were great, and Anton was the most visable to American movie goers. It was by far his creepiest role, but the Coens had much to do with that. It seems he really listens closely to direction and does pretty much exactly what is expected of him, which is only one reason he's so great; but because there's no "actor's ego" whatsoever, is what makes him a great artist rather than a movie star.

I liked him in The Sea Inside, and in Before Night Falls the best, alto both were subtitled and I had to read as I watched. : >)
