Javier Bardem as Roland in The Dark Tower

He is not long, tall, and ugly..I'll give him ugly but he is much more suited for Marten/Flagg...I am so pissed

Javier's always being linked to films. I wait for it to be confirmed first. It doesn't seem a Javier role to me.

i disagree.... i think he's perfect for it... much better than viggo or bale... who were also rumored...

I would be perfectly content if it were Viggo Mortensen (who I hear is still their second choice) and Bale... well, he'd be better that Javier. At least Bale has shown he can lose his accent.

Bardem has shown that he can lose his accent in No Country. Bale's first language is English and Bardem's is Spanish.

Bardem is always linked/wanted for projects. I don't know if he will want to give all the time that is needed for a project like this.

ron howard is not a talented director. so i hope bardem doesn't take this part.
