I think that is quite a presumptuous statement. Considering she comes from such an affluential acting family, one could just as easily assume that she may have had better career opportunities if she hadn't lived such a 'controversial' lifestyle. I have no problem with people from the LGBTQ community, but unfortunately, not everyone feels the same. With three actor siblings who are very much household names here in the US, I find it more likely that her lifestyle was a hinderence to her career rather than the bolster you claim it to be. That being said, no one is ever happy, and people will continue to be disrespectful of others choices, even after they have passed and deserve only to rest in peace and be remembered fondly by those who did appreciate their contribution and talent.
