She comes from a pretty big acting family.... Rosanna Arquette has been a household name since the mid 80's. The brother and sister have had tons of roles too. I wouldn't exactly claim that Alexis is getting an undue amount of press. Its not a headline material, anywhere i've seen. You seem to think they shouldn't acknowledge her death, whatsover, which is a little unfair.

Alexis was big in the bi/trans community. Hollywood eats that stuff up.

Many other actors have siblings who die and are not as lauded as Alexis has been. It is simply due to the lifestyle she was in. If Alexis was not gay/trans you would hear nothing about it.

I think that is quite a presumptuous statement. Considering she comes from such an affluential acting family, one could just as easily assume that she may have had better career opportunities if she hadn't lived such a 'controversial' lifestyle. I have no problem with people from the LGBTQ community, but unfortunately, not everyone feels the same. With three actor siblings who are very much household names here in the US, I find it more likely that her lifestyle was a hinderence to her career rather than the bolster you claim it to be. That being said, no one is ever happy, and people will continue to be disrespectful of others choices, even after they have passed and deserve only to rest in peace and be remembered fondly by those who did appreciate their contribution and talent.

Agreed. She, er.....it wasn't hit by a car or got cancer. Playing god, changing this and that. She did it to herself if you think about it. Surgery after surgery probably. I'm not happy with things about myself like most people but these things make us who we are and you dont change that with looks or just cutting off your dick. It's not that easy. Alexis has been a house hold name since he was a kid in Hollywood , due to his sisters and rest of his acting family. I've known him since 10th grade. If you research you will see that early on in his career he did some pretty amazing work. Then he can out as gay. And In the 1990's being an openly gay actor in Hollywood wasn't as easy as it is today. He did a lot of Indy films and even some B quality films. As he transitioned to she, the work just stopped. He was a very talented performer and singer .just because you don't know his work doesn't make his contribution any less valid.
