One of those actors who get lucky with one good performance..

but the rest of his body of work sucks. He got a huge head after an Oscar nom for Jesse James, and everything he's done since has been god awful. His acting in Tower Heist was laughably bad, and stuff you'd find in soap operas. I don't know what America has, but in Australia there's a show that's been going for decades called Home & Away. It's where wannabe's start and a very very small selection make it big (like Heath Ledger), and the acting in that is just herendous. I feel sorry for them, but they don't know they're that bad. I WANT to think he was bad in Jesse James, but he wasn't. He was pretty good. Which makes his acting elsewhere look very bad in comparison. I don't know how he managed that good performance. Still far from winning though
