I still like her.

I never saw any of her most popular movies like bladerunner cuz they just weren't my kind of movies, however I do recall the whole catwoman scandal and thought the way it was portrayed was entirely manipulated by the media. You always hear actors telling stories about landing roles by going in to auditions dressed a certain way and in character. No biggie. However, Batman was a huge success and anything to do with it was news and Sean Young was exploited and humiliated for no reason other than at the time Batman was big business. Sadly, no one came to her defense. My favorite genre of films is horror, but I loved her small part in Sugar & Spice. She did a reality show about becoming a country singer and that was the first time I really got to see her just being herself. I'm rooting for her.

She's a has been joke. Her behavior was insane long before the Catwoman fiasco. BTW, she didn't just go to an audition dressed as Catwoman, that would have been strange enough, she attempted to confront Tim Burton and Michael Keaton on a movie lot (while dressed as Catwoman)to get the role.

I love Sean, she's been given a raw deal in hollywood because she's a woman whose stood up for herself. Especially in a world mostly run by men that are so egotistical they couldn't take her strong sense of self and they all wanted to sleep with her and because she said no they had it out for her (Warren Beatty as an example and James Woods as well. She was perfect for Blade Runner, Victoria Principal would never have worked get real!!! Anyone putting her down are just jealous, she's been able to still find work all these years and gets my vote everytime. Get a life losers if you have nothing nice to say!!!

I agree. I think people had a problem with actresses speaking their minds. I always thought she was beautiful, possessed intelligence, talent and range. I respect her honesty, and her ability to be brutally honest.
