Don't really know the whole story of Polanski but life is not so black and white. I'm not condoning his actions but just saying that we don't know exactly what happened and it was such a long time ago.

Don't try to use words that downplay it. He raped a girl. I don't care how long ago it was, he has never spent the amount of time behind bars for it that an ordinary rapist would, one without the kind of money, power and fame he has.
