Bottom line is she's a primitive pig...

It's hilarious listening to someone utterly clueless about the Polanski case trying to use logic and reason as justification. It's like listening to Charlie Sheen talk about conspiracy theories that involve science he isn't capable of understanding. Winger doesn't understand the law or the case. She probably just watched the Hollywood slant piece Polanski documentary and thinks she's now credible enough to comment. There was no "minor technicality" hoecake. He pled guilty then fled the country before being sentenced. Then he got caught in a country with a US extradition treaty. It's over. The fact that it's been 3 decades is a total non-sequitur. And the "Art world suffering" comment is hilarious considering Polanski hasn't made a masterpiece in over 25 years. Anyways, she's a primitive pig.

Have you ever thought maybe it's just a Jew supporting another Jew? People that share certain cultural traits usually tend to support their own.

I have a message for Germany...

What a crock of *beep* If you REALLY believe that then this opportunity would definitely not be an ideal one, or at least based on this tacitly remote leap of what, a common thread? Cultural trait? Hmmm, let's see, Polanski fled the country because he committed statutory rape, and Winger supports Polanski because they are both JEWISH? That’s not even a tiny try at the argument you’re pitching!

Give me a break!

What, just for once in your life can't you be serious?

Cant agree about that masterpiece part. Polanski made The Pianist in 2002, and it's a good film.
Funny, how people are easely accept that old pieces are masterpieces, but what is not so old, cant be a masterpiece.
