Seriously, with movies like Robocop, Total Recall, and Starship Troopers, we should see more of what he's capable of. I'd love to see what he can do with a Quake movie when the Marines are battling the Strogg. It would be quite a bloody movie. What kind of Sci-Fi flick would you like to see him make?
shareNowadays the things he worked best with, namely mechanical effects and genuinely interesting subjects, in the sci-fi genre, are both out of date. I sure would like him to go back to that, but maybe he should try something in the vein of Trier's Antichrist. A little *beep* movie with lots of bizzare effects and ideas.

For me, a Quake movie certainly has potential, especially being made by him. Like you said, it should have lots of bizzare effects with the Strogg and all the gore.

As i was saying...
Don't hold your breath, he's not actually a sci-fi fan. If you look at the sci-fi movies he made, it's clear that he did them as he thought he could explore other areas with them (satire against America, an exploration of the human mind, totalitarianism) and not just direct big expensive special effects laden blockbusters.
