I was very interested in the remark that Kathleen said about Warren Beatty and Jack Nicholson calling her up as a competition on who would get the new girl.

One night at a party in LA, I kept getting hit on by both Warren and Jack. I was young but smart enough to steer away from each of them every time it happened. Reading what Kathleen said, I know that my suspicion that it was a "contest" and was true and am so glad that I didn't go for either one of them.

My one regret is that I wasn't old enough to be able to have an intelligent conversation with either one of them as I imagine they can be fascinating if you can control the situation.
