Wonder if she has an Irish Passport?

I read that her father emigrated from Ireland and her mother is a first generation Irish-American.

I have no way of knowing this, but I had friends whose parents and/or grandparents immigrated from Ireland and they were eligible to get an Irish passport. Most of them did it for two reasons: First off, there were places that they could go on an Irish passport that they couldn't on an American one, such as Cuba or Vietnam. The second reason was that it doesn't hurt to have another passport... just in case you find yourself in a situation where they don't like Americans and have to RUN.

Um ok?.....so?....
Everyone knows you can get a European passport as long as one of ur parents was born there. She may or may not have one but I don't see how this is important.

An EU nation passport in addition to a US passport does enable people
to travel more easily to more places. My neighbor had one Irish parent and he was able to get an Irish passport while keeping his US passport. So Tunney could get one if she wanted. I think it's even available to the children of first-generation Irish-Americans.

It depends on if it allows one to travel easier. If going to say Britain then no it won't matter. Now if going someplace in the middle east that doesn't allow Americans then most likely will be easier.

Yeah, my cousin got an Irish passport.

He said that if at least one of your grandparents was from there, then Ireland would grant you one.

Seems hokey to me - no one in the family's ever been back.

I'd also heard that every Jew can get an Israeli passport too. That one probably doesn't make travelling easier, though, I'd bet.
