This just in: Marisa Tomei deemed "too old" to play grandmotherly aunt

They've decided to bump her in favor of aging beauty Keira Knightly. Seriously, *beep* you, Hollywood.

Casting in Hollywood has gone whacko. Both those actresses are way too young for the Aunt May character. In the comics, Aunt May looks 80 years old! I'm sure there are some aging actresses that could use a job, but oh no, casting directors think anyone over 50 in supporting parts will scare away teens from watching the movie!

Yes. Read Ultimate Spider-man. Aunt May is younger like Marisa Tomei.

Still too young to play Ultimate Aunt May. I'd prefer so much if she played Mary Parker, Pete's mom.

Oh are we making a movie called ultimate spiderman. No, I was reading spiderman in the early seventies, not a reimagining of only 9 years that apparently ran its course. I wonder why ultiimate spiderman isnt around anymore. Hmmm, strange. I'm talking about the amazing spiderman or peter parker spiderman that everyone is familiar with.

She's his aunt not his grandmother fs.

It makes more sense that she's that age.
