Did Marisa Tomei ever date Robert Downey Jr (RDJ)?

It was weird seeing Marisa again with RDJ in a movie. They played lovers in a 1980's romantic comedy and seemed to have really hot chemistry.

I thought they cast her in Civil War because she was friends with RDJ who is also a producer (or at least has producer power at MCU).

But I do agree that she might be too sexy or at least act too sexy for a Spiderman movie. Its weird that she is so flirtatious and horny to be in a comic book movie, but it might get more male interest in the movie.

Her scene with RDJ was sort of odd-fitting in Civil War because it seemed like Civil War suddenly became a romance movie and I thought Marisa and RDJ were going to start making out and hooking up!!!

RDJ/Tony Stark is going to become Spiderman's step-father!!!

Yes! They were together in Only you and Chaplin. But they actually were in a short relationship. I do agree that she is too young and hot for how she is in comics. But tbh I never did get why the aunt of a 16y/o teen looked like 70y/o great grandma. The scene on couch looked like they were gonna make out on couch only. But I think it will work out just fine.
