For me, he will always be remembered as Bodhi

He was frickin' awesome in that film!

...and it's hard to hold a candle, in the cold November rain.

Not me...at least not anymore...Once I found out he smoked 5 packs of cigarettes a day, the vision of a clean lifestyle he supposedly lived drifted away, replaced with someone who had stains on his teeth, his fingers fingers, smelled of smoke, their house, the walls and windows crusted over in nicotine, the damage he did to others including pets with his bad habit, and his breath...yuch...that must have been horrible to say the least. His illness let the cat out of the bag of what he was REALLY like, which was so different than the personna we were all sold, through his most dazzling years, like around the time he played Bodhi.

It's funny how all dudes remember him as Bohdi, yet chicks remember him from Dirty Dancing. Most girls I know haven't even heard of Point Break.

Totally agree Laceesharp. One more thing, that wife of his, her forced smile is so unattractive and speaks volumes of what an nightmare he probably was to live with.

Patrick wanted to smoke, Michael wanted to sleep. Be careful what you get addicted to. I've even heard some people have died by drinking too much water. Criminey, these bodies we're in - what a lot of maintenance. Enjoy your youth.

I worked on a show with them both and they were a hot mess. They were in makeup a few mornings before they went to set to cover bruises. He said some inappropriate things of a sexual nature to some of my female coworkers, and while I was in an elevator doing the opening and closing action on the door for a scene, we spent a lot of time in there between takes, and he stunk of booze.
I'm not trying to insult a deceased person, but these are the facts. I felt bad for Lisa.
