I have read Patricks book and a lot on their life (yes I loved Patrick!) and the way he went out is so sad...the things I dont get are these? if there`s was the worlds greatest love story why........did they live together so long (over a year) before gettin it on!? (ok could be realy dedicated to selibacy) .....did he become a raging alcoholic, depressive? (ok can happen even when u r happily married) ....did he always say he wanted to be buried with his dad (she had him hastily cremated and sprinkled on his ranch?) .....his ranch his favourite place on earth...where just after she sprinkled him (and said she felt him all around) she put on market!!? and finally his family.....he was ALWAYS very family orientated and were supported by him when he was alive....have been cut off the moment he died and now NONE are talking to her...after 30 odd years!!! something going on there me thinks!!???

Would Patrick have wanted that picture of him sleeping posted for the world to see? Hardly. He would have wanted people to remember him how he used to be before the cancer. That sick disgusting pig he was married to needs to STFU and go away.

That picture is horrendous. I was watching Entertainment Tonight and they kept showing it and showing it. It's sick and his wife should be ashamed.

It's lies, just the media being morbid and cashing in as usual!

The picture of Patrick 'dying' was taken earlier that spring when he was having his intense chemo, and is in fact, just a picture of him resting with his cat during treatment.

Lisa's quotes about the pic are true, but they're out of context - she did snap him without his knowing, but it was not while he was dying. No-one in the right mind would take a picture of their beloveddying in bed, it's too painful a memory and illogical.

The last REAL pic of Swayze is online and in the book, and was taken about 3 weeks before Patrick died, and is a beautiful pic of him and Lisa embracing, complete with his regrown hair and weight gain as we had seen him in public.

Why would he have been bald and skeletal again anyway, when his treatment had stopped weeks before and his hair was back by the summer while still being treated.

My father died of the same form of cancer. I wouldn't dream of taking a picture of him in very ill health but with his consent I did take two one day so we could see visually if his jaundice was lessening in upcoming days.

He was promised treatment but they failed him and lied to him. Had I known for sure he was going to pass away I would not have taken those pictures but they are not published anywhere, they were taken so Mum and I could take further daily pictures to tell if his jaundice was subsiding as stated.

I think it is very much a personal choice but can't see how publishing these images (especially if he was unaware of their existence), could benefit anyone aside from the person who took them to include in a book.

Ironically a friend just bought me three books on Swayze for my birthday, at least one is written by his wife, I haven't had a proper look yet. I'm not a "fan" but the guy who kindly bought them for me thought I was because his name has been used by me in discussions about this form of cancer. As such I shall read them at some stage seeing as they were bought in good faith.

I'll have to reserve forming a proper opinion until I have read the books

That said, I can't, at face value, see any reason why someone would publish these images. The paps maybe but not your so-called loved one(s).....
