A real man's man

This guy had and could do it all. Good lookin guy, was great at sports in school, a dancer, good actor, was in broadway plays and could sing too! Whenever you hear "She's Like The Wind", you can't believe that it's really his voice singing those lyrics. It's really sad to read some of his final interviews and quotes, he knows he's dying yet he's at peace with himself. It's just not fair. I'm a guy but when I heard of his passing, it hurt alot. Alot of his movies from The Outsiders through Roadhouse and everything in between were some of my favorites. You always wanted to be whatever character he was playing because he'd always be so cool, confident and always got the girl. RIP Patrick Swayze, your fans down here will never forget you and hope you are in a better place!

Great post. I agree 100%.

I'm a big fan of Swayze as well. Actually in a screenplay I wrote he's mentioned as are some of his films. It just became a running gag in the script. I wasn't making fun of (which some might think) it was actually a tribute to him.

Yeah, he was like that cool-older-brother-type-guy that younger guys admire, who knew how to do anything. He was kind and humble by all accounts as well. RIP Patrick.
