A total pretentious phoney is how I describe his character, with an peculiar (but obviously well paid) media non-job that gets him closer to children and teenagers without raising suspicion (it's revealed that he was a nasty sex offender with a child porn den hidden in his tasteless home). In a lot of ways Swayze's Cunningham (Cunning-Ham; get it?) is a somewhat less vulgar and more handsome version of the infamous UK celebrity Jimmy Savile (also the sanctimonious, prissy Christian values Soccer Mom Kitty jumps to his defence when his cover was blown, while Jimmy Savile's BBC shows were described as "wholesome" by Mary Whitehouse, a Christian values television critic).
