'63 J.Garland Show Get-TV

Just watched fabulous 1963 whole episode of The Judy Garland TV Show on Mon nite (8pm & 11pm). Young, gorgeous Barbra talks, giggles & sings many songs, NOT just the "Happy Days" duet.. that the media always shows.

Repeats this Fri at 1pm on rabbit-ears type, antenna TV station called; Get-TV.
Very classy, retro-themed channel. Here's link: http://www.get.tv/variety-shows

I have this on DVD and, yes, this is legendary stuff. NOBODY - not
Whitney Houston, not Celine Dion, not Lady GaGa - come anywhere near these
two singers. They raise the roof on their duets, and Barbra croons
"Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered." Simply incredible. And Ethel
Merman's surprise visit is also great. The only drawback are the Smothers
Brothers, who are about as funny as root canal. Otherwise a legendary moment
in television.

"When Judy Garland sang, God spoke." - Whoopi Goldberg

"The first time I heard Barbra sing, I thought that has to be one of the
greatest gifts God has given anyone." - Carol Burnett

Yes, agree w/all you said & in addition to 60's gals extraordinary voices.. songwriters of today can't hold a candle to classically trained composers/lyricist's of the past.

Smos Bros would have been more interesting to just sing/play folk guitar instead of annoying, interrupt-shtick.

SO, then folks, WHERE are her TV specials already???? The glorious DVD
box set from '05 is out of print. They can't be prepping Blu Ray when
that only lends itself to FILM! These tapes look great and should be
rereleased.
