Target Stores will have a 'deluxe edition' with 4 extra tracks

For those who are interested in buying the new CD, TARGET is offering 4 solo tracks as part of a 'deluxe' version.

The songs are:

Fifty Percent
Pure Imagination
I Didn't Know What Time It Was
Not A Day Goes By

Again, these are solo tracks - not duets. It is only going to be available via TARGET on-line or in-store.

Great that they're solo selections, but one still wishes the ENTIRE
album was solo, especially as it's her third Broadway album. "Pure
Imagination" and, in particular, Rogers' and Hart's "I Didn't Know What
Time It Was" are truly great songs. Also wished she had recorded these
decades ago.

reply

Pure Imagination is not a solo it is with Seth McFarland

reply

Ugh!

reply

My apologies!

The fourth solo exclusive is Sondheim's "Losing My Mind" (which seems like everyone has recorded it in the past 30 years).

Are you serious? Seth MacFarlane of Family Guy fame? The depths she has sunk to. I know he sings, but ugh.

reply

Everyone snickered at Jamie Foxx when his name leaked out a few months ago, but now that the duet has hit the internet people are praising the two of them.

reply

I would say the praise belongs to Streisand, who sounds in excellent voice.
To me, Foxx makes very little impression vocally.

reply

I still think her selection is poor. Seth MacFarlane can sing, but for her to work with the creator of Family Guy and Ted says a lot.
