'GYPSY' is in limbo, memoir on it's way - NY TIMES INTERVIEW

Streisand sat down a month ago with Ben Brantley of the NY TIMES, for an interview to promote her concert tour and her new album (August 26). They talk about GYPSY ('It's in limbo, once again') and her upcoming memoir she's been working on and due in stores next year (though she warns, 'don't hold your breath').

I would flip through, but never purchase, an autobio such as this.
Streisand would be way too biased in discussing controversial
aspects to her life. I would wager a truly honest take on her will
come out after her death - years after.
