This made far more of an impression on me than "At the Ballet", although
I don't care for "Ballet" to start with.

Foxx, of course, is nice on the eyes, but his isn't much of a singer.
Streisand, though, sounds lovely.

The clips they showed suggested they had some timing issues against each other, which didn't sound so fabulous. But maybe they were rehearsal takes.

Kudos to her for paying some overdue attention to Anthony Newley, I have to say. Streisand sounds awesome -- for 74 years old!! -- but the album doesn't interest me much.



You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.

A friend of mine has the album, for reviewing purposes. He said it's her best album since The Broadway Album, although he said that is based on hearing the extended, Target version where she sings 4 additional solos.
