The lady is the best but her voice on the cd Encore sounds off, I wonder if she is finally getting to the point where she's going to have to stop singing. That will be a sad day because her voice is truly the best in the world today and yesterday. I wish Jason would make more music carry on his mothers legacy he really is just the male version of her.

Jason has proven himself to be a very capable actor as well as singer. It's been 25 years since Prince of Tides, and he hasn't done another major motion picture since. I can't imagine why - he was very good in POT. Unless it's just not a calling he's interested in?

Streisand - on rare occasion - has complained about Gould's lack of
ambition. For my money, I'd say he finds his mother's legendary
status to be quite intimidating.
He has done very, very little as a director, actor and "Singer."
He admitted a while back the reason he didn't sing earlier is because he knew he would forever be compared to his mom. Well he's right but so what he's got the chops to be compared to his mom. His got the smooth rich sound his mom has, his voice is the male version of her voice which really is great. It's seems some kids that grow up with highly successful parents have a difficult time finding their own path.
