Politics aside Meryl Streep is the finest actor today. you can put her next to Kim Stanley,Bette Davis, Judy GarlandJessica Lange, Glenda Jackson.
I hated what Streep did ,but that IS the climate in that town and if anyone was going to have a sermon, why not the very best. It was delivered brilliantly . It pained me that she did that .
